Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) in Kentucky to support patients in infusion suites and other settings as needed. This per diem role requires strong clinical skills, independent work, and travel to local patients.

You will perform IV insertions and maintenance, administer therapies, monitor responses, and document care while ensuring regulatory compliance and compassionate patient support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Registered nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and experience with central line management.
• 2+ years RN experience in home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a care team.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs including central line care.
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed.
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care.
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes.
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
