Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) to support patients in infusion suites and other care settings as needed. This per diem role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, IV certification, and the ability to travel locally to support patients.

You will administer therapies, monitor patients, educate families, and maintain meticulous nursing notes, while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and central line management experience.
• 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar).
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line care.
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed.
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care.
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes.
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
