Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Part‑Time Per Diem Infusion Nurse to provide direct nursing care in patients' homes or infusion suites. The role requires traveling within the metropolitan area and coordinating with physicians and nursing partners to ensure safe, effective infusion therapies.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the practicing state, with at least two years of RN experience, IV certification, and familiarity with central lines.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice and at least two years of RN experience.
• IV certification and experience with central line care and venous access.
• Willingness to travel locally to patient homes and infusion sites.
• Strong communication and thorough documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct home and infusion‑suite nursing care by inserting, monitoring, and removing IVs and administering prescribed medications, blood products, and nutrition.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions, obtain vital signs, perform physical assessments, and document all patient‑related activities.
• Teach patients and caregivers how to safely perform home infusion therapy and coordinate start‑of‑care visits.
