Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Per Diem HR Connects Advisor focused on leave management and ADA processes within HR Shared Services. You will support new employees through the leave experience with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

You will use our case management platform to handle inquiries by phone, email, and chat, coordinating with Benefits, Onboarding, and Workforce Administration as needed. On-site presence required to NYP.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for candidate consideration.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

• Ensure accuracy of disability documentation and compliance with hospital leave policies and laws.

Per Diem HR Connects Advisor – HR Shared Services – Leave Management – Day Flex

Jumpstart your career as a per diem HR Connects Advisor, specializing in the leave management and ADA process for one of New York City’s largest private employers. You’ll guide our new employees through the leave of absence experience with an emphasis on quality and service. In this role you’ll be responsible for accuracy and thoroughness of disability documentation, ensuring compliance with all hospital leave policies, Federal and State leave laws and regulatory guidelines. In addition, you’ll master our case management platform, allowing you to provide a broad scope of services by phone, email, and chat to solve customer inquiries related to accommodations, leave administration, leave timekeeping and HR policies. Not to mention, you will also have the opportunity to assist other teams across HR Shared Services such as Benefits, Onboarding or Workforce Administration as needed. The hours for this position can vary between 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Preferred Criteria

• Previous human resources work and/or internship experience, but we are willing to train smart, enthusiastic, confident professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional experiences to amazing employees
• Bachelor’s degree
• Bilingual Spanish

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range

$40.00/Hourly
