Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Per Diem Inventory Clerk to support hospital supply distribution and inventory control. You will process stock, rotate items, and ensure supplies reach patient care areas efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic English proficiency, and computer literacy. You may be asked to lift and move heavy items and participate in regular inventory activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent: written and verbal English skills at a 12th grade level.

Responsibilities

• Process new items and rotate stock on shelf as needed.
• Notifies of any discrepancies or damages regarding the incoming materials.
• Keep efficient par levels for patient floor inventories and manage them to support distribution operations.
• Maintain and deliver supplies to serviced supply areas with inventory based on set par levels.
• Accurately check par stock areas and replenish inventory appropriately.
• Identify inactive and outdated items.
• Review stock status with manager to identify items for deletion or inventory reduction.
• Check for expired products.
• Properly dispose of expired products and replenish inventory appropriately.
• Fill material requests and deliver those supplies.
• Pick, pack and deliver stores requisitions.
• Deliver equipment to the appropriate hospital location.
