Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking a Full-time Day shift Materials Handler in Supply Chain Operations. You will process supply requisitions, check inventory, pick orders, stock carts, and deliver supplies to hospital and ambulatory clinics.

Under supervision, you’ll complete Pyxis supply station refills, verify deliveries, perform cycle counts, and ensure timely restocking while maintaining neat, accurate records and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate routine information.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and lookup.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Completes Pyxis Supply station supply refill and put away to assigned areas.
• Verifies receipt of goods at CPD and incorporates materials to the same station as needed.
• Performs cycle counts on Pyxis stations as instructed.
• Inventory par level carts via handheld PDA as needed.
• Picks non Pyxis par levels within a reasonable timeframe.
• Delivers call down requests within twenty minutes unless stat is requested.
• Returns excess stock to Central Processing and Distribution or value link for credit.
