St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a Maintenance Technician to inspect, test, maintain, install, repair, and modify hospital systems, equipment, and structures.

You will coordinate work with supervisors and craftsmen to ensure safe, reliable operation across the facility. The role requires three years of trades experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry or electronics), a high school diploma, and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in one or more trades found in the Engineering Department preferred.
• Technical school certification may be substituted for up to 18 months experience.
• Valid state issued motor vehicle license.

Responsabilités

• Inspects, tests, maintains, installs, repairs, and modifies systems, equipment and structure within the hospital.
• Monitors and coordinates work when additional craftsmen are required.
• Performs preventive maintenance and works with supervision to establish routines.
• Communicates with supervisory and management staff, nurses, patients and other staff to ensure optimal patient care and business environment.
• Adheres to local, state and national code compliance and reports violations.
