Job summary

BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, California seeks a Receptionist – Per Diem to greet visitors, manage a multi-line switchboard, and provide clerical support across front desk tasks in a private, fully accredited behavioral health facility.

You will follow facility visitor regulations, answer calls within three rings, assist with mail processing, look up patient numbers in the MS4 system, and distribute facesheets to doctors, supporting a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• Experience with a multi-line telephone switchboard in a healthcare setting.
• Strong front-desk and clerical support abilities in a hospital.
• Ability to handle mail processing and visitor management.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and follow facility visitor regulations.
• Answer and disseminate calls on the switchboard within three rings.
• Use paging system to announce callers as required.
• Collate admission folders on each shift and support records.
• Look up patient numbers in the MS4 system and distribute facesheets.
