Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience considered in lieu of diploma
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Serving experience in full-service establishments preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares, serves, and delivers a product of high quality to patients, employees, and guests
• Performs proper use and storage of equipment and maintain a clean environment, including utensils, floors, equipment, etc
• Monitors all kitchen equipment and appliances for malfunctions and proper temperatures
• Receives, inspects, and properly stores all supplies entering Food Service Department
• Completes all requested forms pertaining to the Food Service area
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position
