Job summary

HRI Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Food Service Worker for per diem shifts in Brookline, MA. You will assist with food preparation, serving patients, staff and guests, while maintaining a clean kitchen and proper food safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience in lieu of diploma/GED will be considered.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Serving experience in full-service establishments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares, serves, and delivers a product of high quality to patients, employees, and guests.
• Performs proper use and storage of equipment and maintain a clean environment, including utensils, floors, equipment, etc.
• Monitors all kitchen equipment and appliances for malfunctions and proper temperatures.
• Receives, inspects, and properly stores all supplies entering Food Service Department.
• Completes all requested forms pertaining to the Food Service area.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
