Job summary

ProMedica, Hickman Hospital, seeks a Chaplain to provide spiritual care for patients, families and staff. You will coordinate with community clergy and attend monthly meetings, while serving as on-call chaplain each month.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field (or progress toward one) and CPE units (4 for full-time, 2 for part-time). Healthcare chaplaincy experience is a plus and a per diem schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field required or working towards such degree.
• 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full time positions, 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for part time positions.
• Candidates with 2 or more years experience as a chaplain within the healthcare field may be considered for contingent roles

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care and guidance to patients, families and staff.
• Coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy as needed.
• Attend monthly spiritual care meetings.
• Serve as on-call chaplain throughout each month.
