Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Chaplain for per diem, hospital-based spiritual care across Hickman Hospital. The role requires coordinating with patients, families, and community clergy, and participating in monthly spiritual care meetings.

Responsibilities include serving as the on-call chaplain each month and collaborating with the System Mission Services team to support patients and staff in their spiritual needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field required or in progress.
• 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full-time positions; 2 units for part-time positions.
• 2+ years experience as a chaplain in healthcare may be considered for contingent roles.
• APC or NACC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care to patients, families and staff during hospital stays.
• Coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy.
• Attend monthly spiritual care meetings.
• Serve as on-call chaplain each month.
