Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Per Diem Pastor/Counselor to provide spiritual care for patients and families. Responsibilities include pastoral counseling, crisis ministry, bereavement support, and collaboration with the hospice team.

Requirements include a Master of Divinity or equivalent, four units of CPE, and strong communication and leadership skills. On-call duties and educational outreach to clergy and staff are included.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or related theologian degree.
• Minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
• Excellent written and oral communication and leadership in hospice or related setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide pastoral care and counseling to patients and families.
• Deliver spiritual counseling, crisis ministry and bereavement support.
• Coordinate with hospice interdisciplinary team and community clergy.
• Develop and implement psycho-spiritual plans and educational programs for staff.
• Participate in quality assurance program and on-call as needed.
