Monte Nido Houston Day Treatment Program in Houston, TX is seeking a per diem Group Facilitator to provide direct patient support and implement therapeutic interventions in line with Monte Nido’s philosophy.

You will participate in meal supervision, group facilitation, and documentation, with a commitment of at least 4 shifts per month. Experience in eating disorder settings is preferred and a strong teamwork ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or similar field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a health-related field.
• Group therapy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, supportive environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Model healthy eating behaviors by participating in meals and snacks.
• Engage with patients using Monte Nido’s therapeutic approach.
• Deliver curriculum to groups and manage group dynamics.
• Run assigned groups independently and co-facilitate as needed.
• Report and document interactions and progress promptly.
