Qualifications

• Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure required (or higher nursing licensure).
• SANE-A/SANE-P certifications after two years of practice - Within 2 years of hire.
• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a complete medical forensic examination including head-to-toe assessment and documentation.
• Collect forensic evidence and photograph injuries with proper documentation.
• Assess mandatory reporting status and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Maintain chain of custody and adhere to evidence guidelines.
• Demonstrate compassionate, non-judgmental care to adult and pediatric victims.
