Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA, seeks a Forensic Nurse Examiner to provide independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting after acute sexual assault or non-fatal strangulation in the Emergency Department.

Under supervision, you will follow protocols, collaborate with ED providers, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered care environment while supporting a mission of caring for the vulnerable in our communities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• 1 year of Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, comprehensive ED care to adults and adolescents after acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation.
• Follow protocols under supervision from the ED Provider and FNE/SANE Supervisor to ensure quality patient care.
