Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a per diem Emergency Veterinarian to join our national network of 24/7 emergency hospitals. You will handle a wide range of emergencies, including surgeries and endoscopy, while working in a mentorship-driven environment that supports growth and development.

You will participate in continuous learning through VEG Education programs and CE opportunities, contributing to an exceptional ER experience for clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Experience in emergency medicine and emergency surgery.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; rotating schedule.
• Stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Answer medical questions and see patients immediately.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and emergency surgeries.
• Educate clients on treatment plans and aftercare.
• Document medical records and present estimates to customers.
• Collaborate with team and mentor others on the hospital floor.
