Job summary

VEG is seeking a per diem Emergency Veterinarian to join our fast-paced, compassionate team. You will handle emergency cases, provide urgent care, and perform surgeries and endoscopic procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a DVM or equivalent degree.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced emergency setting.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergency cases from on-call triage to treatment and management.
• Perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures as needed.
• Gather patient signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and exams; develop diagnostic/therapeutic plans.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options with clients; prepare estimates.
