Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) for Federal Way, WA. You will join a fast-paced ER team delivering high-quality care across emergencies, triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing; a role focused on compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.

You will work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and ongoing learning in a supportive VEG

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited veterinary tech degree preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of practice.
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician; emergency/specialty experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software/EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line emergency nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Perform treatments, diagnostics, and sample collection as needed.
• Communicate effectively with doctors and team to maintain care flow.
• Carry out CPR and emergency procedures as trained.
