Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Florida license and DEA registration are required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of emergency room experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all ages in the ER with mild to moderate medical complaints.
• Perform H&P and physical exams; generate quality treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKG) and write prescriptions.
• Perform ER procedures (I&D, sutures, pelvic exams) as required.
• Coordinate follow-up within GEMD or with specialists; support mid-level providers.
• Adhere to facility metrics and security policies; maintain patient flow and door-to-provider times.
