Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy (PRN) at Ocean State Endoscopy Center in Providence, RI. The RN will deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team throughout the patient care process.

The ideal candidate has an RI nursing license, ACLS and PALS, 1–2 years of medical/surgical experience, and strong communication skills. Per diem schedule, Monday–Friday with flexible hours; weekends/holidays not required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (state)
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• BLS CPR certification
• Cardiopulmonary skills for perioperative/endoscopy settings
• Experience in pre-op, PACU, or endoscopy helpful
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care delivery systems, standards and procedures.
• Provides age-appropriate nursing care for patients across the lifespan.
• Collaborates with physicians and health-care team for education and discharge planning.
• Contributes to performance improvement by data collection and analysis.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and assigns tasks to staff based on patient needs.
