MultiCare Health System is seeking an Endoscopy Technician/GI Tech to support Gastroenterology Clinics by cleaning, sterilizing, and high-level disinfection of instruments, maintaining stock, and aiding staff during procedures and visits. The role includes patient greeting, basic vital signs, and room preparation before and after procedures.

The position requires supervision by the GI Clinic nurse manager, with emphasis on teamwork, safety, and patient education for families.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Current Washington CNA license required or as noted in posting.
• Experience in care settings and patient interaction preferred.

Responsabilités

• Sets up procedures in appropriate departments.
• Keeps adequate stock of supplies.
• Assists the physician.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure equipment is available and functional.
• Observes and reports changes to patient’s condition.
• Provides education to patient and families as needed.
• Facilitates ethical plan of care.
