Job summary

American Ambulance Central Florida is seeking per diem EMTs in Marion County, Florida. You will provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance services with a partner, delivering essential BLS care and ensuring safety and accurate documentation throughout every call.

Qualified candidates hold a Florida EMT-B certification, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations with a partner.
• Responds to assigned calls quickly and safely.
• Provides BLS patient care per local protocols.
• May work in ALS with a Paramedic for overall care.
• Completes medical records and transport reports.
• Maintains knowledge of EMT standards and equipment.
