American Ambulance Central Florida is seeking Per diem Paramedics to support Lake County operations in Leesburg. The role involves delivering both BLS and ALS patient care, responding with a partner, and maintaining vehicle readiness and accurate records.

Requirements include EMT-P, EVOC, ACLS, a valid Florida driver’s license, age 18+, and proficient English communication. Compensation is $35 per hour with a maximum of 24 hours per week.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations with a partner and maintains safety and public safety in operation.
• Responds to all assigned calls to assess scenes and request assistance as needed.
• Delivers BLS patient care per procedures and local protocols; conducts ALS operations and patient transport.
• Completes medical records and transportation reports; maintains knowledge of EMT standards and equipment use.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment, fuel and tire pressure; reports malfunctions; ensures crew quarters and uniforms are clean.
• Maintains positive relationships with EMS personnel, hospitals and the public; adheres to safety standards.
