Job summary

American Ambulance Central Florida is seeking Per Diem Paramedics to operate in Marion County, FL, delivering emergency and non-emergency ambulance services with a partner. You will perform BLS and ALS care, document patient care, and uphold safety and professionalism on every shift.

Qualifications include 18+, High School diploma or GED, English proficiency, and valid Florida Driver’s License with EMT-P, EVOC, ACLS certifications. This is a per diem role with a $35 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and in writing.
• Valid FL Driver’s License, EMT-P, EVOC, ACLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations with a partner.
• Responds to all assigned calls quickly and safely.
• Provides BLS patient care per local protocols and clinical practices.
• Provides ALS operations including patient assessment, packaging and transport.
• Completes medical records and transportation reports.
• Maintains knowledge of EMT standards of care and equipment use.
• Maintains safety of self, crew, patients, and equipment.
• Maintains professional demeanor and good relationships with hospitals and EMS partners.
