Job summary

OneWell Health Care in Harrisburg, PA is hiring a Per Diem Employment Specialist to assist individuals with IDD in pursuing competitive, community-based employment. The role covers career planning, job placement, coaching, and ongoing employment support.

The position is field-based with flexible scheduling and local travel. Candidates should have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and be able to obtain required certifications within 6 months; valid driver’s license and English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Proficiency with documentation systems and EHR.
• Strong organizational and data-tracking skills.
• English proficiency required; driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vocational assessments and develop individualized employment plans.
• Assist with job search, resume, interview prep and workplace readiness.
• Build employer partnerships and provide on-the-job coaching.
• Monitor progress, address barriers to employment, and document services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records.
