VEG is seeking a Per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll work with doctors to provide gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care from triage through discharge in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle anesthesia, monitoring, IVs, diagnostics, and advanced nursing tasks while supporting pet parents during stressful moments. This role offers growth, mentorship, and a dynamic, patient-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support in emergency cases.
• Assist with triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care tasks.
• Handle meds, IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to keep care flowing smoothly.
• Demonstrate leadership in planning and coordinating patient care.
• Perform diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
• Assist with anesthesia for fragile patients and advanced procedures.
