NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technician I for per diem coverage. The role performs Video, EEG, and standard EEG procedures, monitors patient brain activity, prepares study files for physician interpretation, and documents patient activity during exams.

The candidate will troubleshoot equipment with IT and vendors, assist with department equipment maintenance, and communicate findings to neurologists and supervisors as part of a coordinated care team.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Per diem schedule and willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Video-EEG procedures as ordered by physicians in various units.
• Maintain stock of supply inventory and ensure proper documentation for billing.
• Assist in compiling patient demographics for billing purposes.
• Monitor physical safety and patient comfort during procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with IT and vendors to resolve problems.
• Maintain department records and ensure accurate patient reports.
