Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a per diem Echocardiography Diagnostic Technologist to cover Lansdale and Einstein Montgomery locations. The role performs 2D, M-mode and Doppler echocardiography and assists cardiology staff with TEE and stress echocardiography.

You will maintain high-quality imaging, coordinate patient flow, document results in the EHR and help ensure accurate billing and records. The schedule has no weekends or holidays, and there is no on-call requirement for this assignment at this

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a 2-year echocardiography program accredited by CAAHEP or cardiovascular technology program.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete echocardiographic examinations (2D, M-mode, Doppler) per protocols.
• Assist during trans-esophageal and stress echocardiography as needed.
• Document results in the EHR and ensure accurate billing/records.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety; participate in on-call coverage as needed.
