Job summary

The Echocardiography Diagnostic Technologist at Albert Einstein Medical Center provides comprehensive echocardiographic examinations, including 2D, M-mode and Doppler. The role supports physicians and staff, coordinating patient flow and ensuring high-quality procedures in line with IAC standards.

Work as per diem coverage at Lansdale and Einstein Montgomery locations, with shifts 7:30am-4:00pm and 9:00am-5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Completion of a two-year echocardiography training program accredited by CAAHEP or cardiovascular technology program accredited by CAAHEP.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required (added qualification).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiography per department policy.
• Performs trans-esophageal echocardiograms (TEE) as required.
• Performs dobutamine stress echocardiograms (DSE) and stress echocardiograms.
• Assists in coordinating efficient patient flow and maintains accurate billing/records.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safety and quality of testing.
