Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute within MultiCare Health System in Spokane is seeking an Echocardiographer for per diem, part-time shifts. The role focuses on acquiring high-quality heart ultrasound recordings for cardiologists, with on-site responsibilities and on-call coverage as needed.

Candidates should be ARDMS or CCI certified (or eligible within 12 months) and hold BLS. Experience in echocardiography and equipment maintenance is preferred to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Registered with ARDMS or CCI or enrolled and must obtain within 12 months.
• Prior Echocardiographer experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies on patients.
• Complete echocardiography worksheet with measurements and descriptive data.
• Handle clerical tasks: scheduling, phones, reports, and charging.
• Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and perform quality checks.
• Communicate findings effectively with the interpreting cardiologist.
