Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute is seeking an Echocardiographer (cardiac sonographer) to obtain high-quality ultrasound images of the heart for cardiologists. This per diem, day-shift position requires technical expertise, independent judgment, and strong communication with patients and physicians.

Qualifications

• Licensed/registered in ARDMS or CCI (or actively pursuing with 12-month credentialing window).
• Current BLS required.
• Experience as Echocardiographer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies on patients.
• Completes the echocardiography worksheet with quantitative calculations, measurements and descriptive information.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and performs routine quality checks.
• Communicates results and coordinates with interpreting cardiologists.
