Candidates must be ARDMS or CCI registered (or enrolled and credentialed within 12 months), have BLS, CPR skills, and prior echocardiography experience

Qualifications

• Registered with ARDMS or CCI; or enrolled and credentialed within 12 months from hire.
• Previous Echocardiography experience preferred.
• Current BLS required; CPR skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies on patients.
• Completes echocardiography worksheets with quantitative data.
• Handles scheduling, phone calls, reporting, and data entry as part of workflow.
• Maintains and cleans ultrasound equipment and aids in quality checks.
• Understands cardiac abnormalities to produce diagnostic images.
• Communicates results effectively with cardiologists and staff.
