Job summary

Specimen Specialists of America, Inc. is seeking a per diem DNA collector to perform buccal swab testing at the Roswell, NM Child Support Office. Shifts are on an as-needed basis, with Wednesday coverage commonly requested.

Training is provided online and over the phone. Applicants should be reliable, professional, and capable of working independently while delivering excellent customer service; reliable transportation to the site is required and a background check will be conducted.

• Medical background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cheek swab specimen collections
• Take photos and ink prints of all clients
• Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
• Ensure specimens are properly and accurately labeled
• Make FedEx run to drop off samples collected for the day
• Keep track of supply inventory and order as needed
• Able to work with the public and be friendly and professional
