Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a per diem Dishwasher to support dining services at our community in Burbank, CA. You will handle sanitation, dishwashing, and help keep kitchen operations smooth in a fast-paced environment that serves senior residents.

The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, and able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Training provided with emphasis on hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
