Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a friendly dishwasher to support our dining service. You will keep the kitchen clean, sanitize equipment, and help ensure dishes and utensils are ready for use. This per diem role covers 2 to 3 shifts per week, including a weekend day.

The position prioritizes hospitality, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to grow within our communities. You’ll contribute to a safe, inviting environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
