Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Concord NH is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting, including daily activities, transportation when needed, and helping them build life skills. You will support participation in meaningful activities and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

The position offers per diem hours (M-F 9a-3p) with pay of $18.00–$19.20 per hour, based on education and experience, plus mileage reimbursement

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Basic computer skills; Therap software a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm and dedication to helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver’s license and auto insurance; with at least 3 years driving experience; reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily activities in a community setting.
• Assist individuals with transportation to activities; mileage reimbursement as applicable.
• Assist with household chores, meal prep, recreation, learning activities and fitness.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals; contribute to program planning and implementation.
