Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities across New England and Maryland.

The DSP will assist with daily activities, transportation when required, and participate in program planning, with mileage reimbursement where applicable. Pay is $18.50–$19.00 per hour, per diem schedule, at least 16 hours/month.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• In some locations, a valid US driver’s license and auto insurance may be required; at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities, meals, chores, and recreational/learning activities.
• Help with transportation to community activities; mileage reimbursement as applicable.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals and contribute to program planning.
• May use a company or personal vehicle for transport when needed.
