Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our care team. You will assist in data collection, provide direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, and participate in program development.

Education: associate degree in OTA; MA OTA license; CEUs. Duties include treatments under physician order, documentation, team participation, training patients and caregivers, and

Qualifications

Minimum associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
CEU requirements per state licensure.
Must possess an OTA license in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Under physician's order, provides direct resident treatments per care plan (individual, supervised, group).
Contributes to team meetings and program decisions.
Trains and counsels patients, residents and caregivers.
