Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our care team. You will assist in data collection and provide direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, while contributing to program development.

Education includes an associate degree in OTA from an accredited program and MA OTA licensure; CEUs per state requirements apply.

Qualifications

Must have MA OTA license.
CEUs per state licensure requirements.
Associate degree in OTA from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatments include individual, supervised, and group sessions.
Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers.
Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
Demonstrates knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
Participates in clinical program development and implementation.
