Willow Creek Health Care Center in California is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team as a per diem/full-time role. The COTA works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care and assist residents in achieving their highest level of functional independence.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current, active California COTA license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under supervision.
• Follow physician orders and treatment plans for residents.
• Document daily and weekly treatment notes and records.
• Communicate progress and updates to the OT and team.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Instruct residents and staff in maintenance programs and safety.
• Maintain therapy areas and report equipment issues.
