Job summary

Imperial Healthcare Center in La Mirada, California seeks a per diem, part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing team. Responsibilities include administering treatments, following established treatment plans, documenting progress, and helping develop patient education plans.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is mandatory
• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant is required
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in long-term care
• Good physical and mental health
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to follow both oral and written instructions
• Possess training, knowledge, and experience for general duties under supervision

Responsibilities

• Administering treatment and rehabilitation services to patients with injuries or disabilities
• Following treatment plans directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Monitoring and documenting patient treatment and progress
• Assisting in developing educational plans based on learning needs
• Ensuring documentation meets current standards and policies
• Adhering to facility's policies and procedures
