Oak Hill Village is seeking a Per Diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team in the facility. The position involves providing comprehensive treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, identifying suitable patients for rehab, and documenting weekly progress with OTR sign-off.

New grads are welcome to apply. Prior state guidelines knowledge and ability to coordinate with MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges are required.

Formación

• Must have current COTA license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
