Job summary

BoldAge PACE is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a per diem role in Columbus, OH. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, participant-centered care, supporting independence, safety, and functional ability in older adults.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, adherence to HIPAA/OSHA, and participation in quality initiatives. Relevant licensure and NBCOT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• NBCOT certification is required to practice.
• State licensure as applicable to the practice setting.
• Fieldwork experiences (Level I & II) completed in relevant settings.
• Minimum of 1 year working with the elderly population, with training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with ADLs to promote independence and safety.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions under OT supervision using adaptive equipment.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document progress accurately in the EMR and report changes to the OT.
• Support the IDT with holistic, participant-centered care and attendance at meetings.
