Job summary

Continuum Healthcare Inc. in Bloomingdale, NJ seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/OTA) for a per diem position. The role supports the plan of treatment for residents and is integrated into the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an associate’s degree in physical or occupational therapy.
• Active state licensure as COTA/OTA.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident rehabilitation care in accordance with plan of care and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with supervising therapist to communicate resident condition and responses to ensure quality outcomes.
• Performs necessary documentation as directed.
• Provides feedback to the therapist and Director of Rehabilitation on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in center processes and in-service training as requested.
• Manages treatment and non-treatment related activities effectively.
• Completes required documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
