Job summary

Craneville Place Skilled Nursing Home & Rehabilitation in Dalton, MA is seeking a Per-Diem Cook to join our kitchen team. This part-time role offers per-diem shifts with weekly pay, and you will prepare meals according to menus and recipes while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

You will supervise kitchen staff as directed by the Food Service Director and assist Dietary Aids as needed, ensuring meals are tasty and presented well.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as cook.
• Experience with cutting tools, cookware and bake ware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes.
• Preparation of meals that are tasty and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control and safety standards.
• Maintain high levels of sanitation during and at the completion of all food production assignments.
• Supervise kitchen staff as directed by the Food Service Director.
• Assists Dietary Aids when needed
