Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician I to assist under a licensed pharmacist. You will repack- age medications, perform basic calculations, and help ensure safe, accurate compounding operations in a clean room setting.

The position involves up to 20 hours per week with emphasis on customer service, accuracy, and adherence to policies and state regulations. Prior technician experience and licensure as required are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Licensure/registration as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing per policies and state rules.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding and dosing.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Label and package medications accurately.
• Participate in medication incident reporting and follow-up.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hood cleanliness.
• Record and monitor pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
