Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support Chattanooga, TN area locations. You will process prescriptions, provide patient counseling, and ensure access to medications for behavioral health and specialty care patients.

Required are a PharmD or BA in Pharmacy, Tennessee pharmacist license, and ability to immunize. Immunization certification or willingness to obtain, and BLS/CPR or willingness to obtain are also required, along with a valid

Qualifications

• PharmD or BA in Pharmacy required.
• Current Tennessee pharmacist license required.
• Certified immunizer or willing to obtain.
• BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs usual and customary pharmacy duties.
