Job summary

Oula Health, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Midwife to support our maternity care model in Charlotte, NC. You will provide full-scope midwifery care across prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum, collaborating with a team of midwives, OBs, and nurses.

The role includes on-call coverage and care delivery across clinics and hospital settings. The position emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-informed care with a commitment to reproductive justice and inclusive, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina licensure as a CNM and AMCB certification.
• Experience providing full-scope midwifery care in outpatient and hospital settings preferred.
• Experience caring for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope, evidence-informed midwifery care across prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, and via telemedicine as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure high-quality care.
• Document care and coordinate with the care team using electronic tools.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
