Job summary

Oula is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our expanding maternity care practice in Charlotte, NC. You will deliver full-spectrum perinatal care within a collaborative model where midwives lead panels and OB-GYNs are integrated on the same team.

You will attend births for low-risk patients, support physiologic labor, and shape Oula’s clinical care approach while working with a multidisciplinary team across clinics, hospitals, and remote care tools.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure to practice midwifery and AMCB CNM certification.
• Two+ years of full-scope midwifery experience preferred.
• Experience caring for diverse communities.
• Experience with telemedicine or virtual care.
• Bonus skills such as lactation certification or language skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care across pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum in clinics, hospitals, and virtual settings.
• Attend births as the primary delivering clinician for low-risk patients.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, MAs, doulas, coordinators, therapists, etc., to provide whole-person care.
• Educate patients about and promote the midwifery model of care and use of Oula’s patient portal.
• Work with the product & engineering team to refine care delivery tools.
